Description
These are ideal for people who have never surfed before and want that extra personalized attention or for those who have surfed before and want to customize their skill practice. Private lessons are more flexible to book and really help improve skills whether you’re brand new or very advanced. - Participant(s): 1 - Duration: 2 hours - 13% VAT not included in the price listed. - We book lessons based on the tides and conditions for optimal surf experience, and therefore the specific time you requested is subject to change. We will contact you shortly after booking to confirm the lesson time for the date you chose. - Lesson location will also depend on the tides and conditions, we will send you a pin for where to meet your instructor when we confirm the lesson. - Please contact us if you don't see availability for the date you requested *** EXTRA & ADD-ONS (Select from the service list on the Surf page) *** - Children 6 and under require an additional instructor for safety purposes and an extra charge of $30. - Video Analysis (add $65/person): Video Analysis is an excellent way to improve your surfing skills. We will film and examine every wave during your lesson and break it down little by little, to analyze and explain what’s happening and how to improve. It helps us find bad habits and bring them front-of-mind to take to the water. Best for novice to advanced surfers, this is the fastest way to take your surfing to the next level and afterwards you get 3-5 videos to keep, to learn, and improve from at home. - Surf Photography (add $30/person): If you'd prefer to capture memories of your surf lesson we also provide professional surf photos of your two-hour lesson catching the moments to remember forever, whether it’s your first wave or your first barrel. Beyond having something to keep from our session, photos are also a great way to review your technique and improve your form.
Cancellation Policy
For bookings within 24 hours please contact us directly for availability. To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48h hours in advance. Online bookings via our website are paid in full and no refunds will be provided within the 48 hour (72 hours Dec 15-Jan15) window. If you cancel prior to 48 hours you will receive a full refund (less admin fees). If you cancel within 24 hours of the booking we require full payment unless you communicate and we accept that exceptional circumstances have occurred to prevent you from attending the lesson. Where exceptional circumstances occur we will do our best to reschedule the lesson one time where possible, if you cancel a second time you are responsible for the cancellation and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. If for some reason the conditions are unsafe to surf and we cannot deliver the lesson at another time we will refund the deposit or full prepaid balance (less admin fees) to you in full. No refunds are issued under normal circumstances. No refunds will be issued for cancellation of surf camps or retreats. If you need to change your booking we will make every effort to accommodate any changes to lessons after the booking has been confirmed. Notice of the requested change must be provided at least 48 hours before the lesson start time and changes will be subject to availability. For clinics and surf camps we can accommodate changes, subject to availability, and provided we have received two weeks advance notice before the start dates.
